My name is Deidra Jackson I am the owner and operator of MikaBrie Photography in Jacksonville, NC. I am the mom to an amazing three year old who has changed my life for the better. Having a child definitely adds some excitement to each day. As the title states this Blog is all about my life as a mother and photographer.

When it comes to photography I consider myself to be a natural light photographer. From Weddings to Senior portraits I do it all. I love being able to shoot outdoors. Being able to catch the essence of who a person is can't be put into words. I love my job and at the end of the day client satisfaction is my number one priority. Being a single parent sometimes parenting and photography collide. lol  Finding balance between my child and my business can be tricky but there is never a dull moment. I look forward to inviting you all in as we take a look at a #momtogs life behind the lense.
